Maintenance and Care
Before First Use
Prior to your first use, wash the pan in hot soapy water with a nylon cloth or brush. Avoid using harsh scourers that may damage the surface.
After each cooking session, allow the pan to cool before cleaning. Remove all food and fat residue using hot soapy water and a nylon cloth or brush. Avoid using cold water in a hot pan. To address heat tint or streak marks caused by excessive high heat, create a paste by mixing 2 tablespoons of baking soda with water. Apply the paste with a soft cloth in a circular motion and rinse off as usual.
While our cookware is dishwasher safe, we recommend handwashing to extend its lifespan. For even better results and to maintain an “as new” finish, consider using the SCANPAN Steel and Copper Cleaner.
