Ensure the longevity of your SCANPAN Impact Chafing Set with proper care:- Before first use, wash the pan in hot soapy water with a nylon cloth/brush. Avoid harsh scourers.
- For routine cleaning after cooking, wait until the pan cools. Then, remove all food and fat residue using hot soapy water and a nylon cloth/brush.
- Prevent heat tint or streak marks by avoiding excessive high heat. If streak marks appear, create a paste by mixing 2 tablespoons of bicarbonate soda with water. Apply the paste with a soft cloth in a circular motion and rinse off as normal.
- While dishwasher safe, handwashing is recommended to extend the product's life. Consider using the SCANPAN Steel and Copper Cleaner for a "like-new" finish.
