Maintenance and Care
Proper care ensures the longevity of your SCANPAN Coppernox multi-steamer insert:- Before First Use: Wash the pan in hot soapy water with a nylon cloth/brush. Avoid harsh scourers.
- Routine Cleaning: After cooking, allow the pan to cool before cleaning. Remove food and fat residue using hot soapy water and a nylon cloth/brush. Avoid excessive high heat, which may cause heat tint or streak marks. To remove streak marks, create a paste by mixing 2 tablespoons of bi-carb soda with water, then apply it with a soft cloth in a circular motion. Rinse off as usual.
- Handwashing Recommended: While dishwasher safe, handwashing is recommended to extend the product's life. For optimal results, use the SCANPAN Steel and Copper Cleaner for a "like-new" finish.
