Maintenance and Care:

Before First Use:

Wash the lid in hot soapy water with a nylon brush or cloth. Avoid using harsh scourers.

Routine Cleaning:

Use a soft nylon scourer to wash the lid in hot soapy water. Never use harsh or abrasive cloths or cleaning liquids/pastes. After cleaning, dry and store the lid appropriately. While dishwasher safe, SCANPAN recommends hand washing to extend the product's lifespan. Do NOT use excessive high heat.
