The SCANPAN Classic 16cm / 1 Litre Saucepan is designed for precise everyday cooking tasks such as preparing sauces, heating liquids, cooking grains, or warming smaller portions. Crafted in Denmark using environmentally responsible materials, this saucepan combines durable construction with advanced non-stick technology for reliable kitchen performance.
The pan features SCANPAN’s exclusive STRATANIUM non-stick coating, which allows food to release easily while helping reduce the need for added oil or fat. This makes it suitable for preparing delicate sauces, milk-based recipes, and other ingredients that benefit from a smooth cooking surface.
Manufactured from 100% recycled squeeze-cast aluminium, the saucepan distributes heat evenly across the base to minimise hot spots and support consistent cooking results. A patented handle attachment system secures the handle without rivets, screws, or springs, creating a strong and hygienic design.
The included tempered glass lid allows you to monitor the cooking process without lifting the lid and losing heat. The saucepan is also oven safe up to 250°C and compatible with most cooktops except induction.

Maintenance & Care
Before First Use
- Wash the saucepan thoroughly in warm soapy water using a nylon brush or soft cloth.
- Avoid abrasive scourers or harsh cleaning products.
Routine Cleaning
- Allow the pan to cool before cleaning.
- Fill with warm soapy water and clean using a soft nylon scourer to remove food residue.
- Avoid steel wool, abrasive cloths, or strong chemical cleaners.
- Dry the pan thoroughly before storing.
- Although dishwasher safe, hand washing is recommended to extend the life of the non-stick coating.
- Avoid excessive high heat during cooking to maintain optimal non-stick performance.

Delivery Timeframe:
We aim to deliver all stocked items within 3-5 working days after confirming the receipt of your order. Please note that this timeframe is an estimate.
Signature Required Delivery:
All delivery orders will be personally delivered with a signature obtained for security. If you are not at home, a card will be left in your letterbox, and the courier company will arrange a suitable delivery time with you.
Physical Delivery Address Required:
We cannot deliver to a PO Box address; please provide a physical address. Once the courier uplifts your order, the delivery is controlled by them. While we strive to meet the desired time frame, the risk of loss or damage to the products passes to you upon delivery. Please contact us immediately if you experience any issues. Our courier provides a Track & Trace service, and we will supply this information if required.
Delivery Limited to New Zealand:
At present, we only deliver within New Zealand. We do not offer delivery services outside of New Zealand.

Return Policy
We are dedicated to the quality of our products and ensuring your satisfaction with your purchase. If you are dissatisfied with any item you bought from our website, you have the option to return the product for a refund or exchange within a 14-day period. Please adhere to the following conditions:
- All items must be returned in their original, unused condition, accompanied by the original packaging.
- Proof of purchase from The Living Styles must be included with the returned items; no exceptions will be made to these conditions.
- Since our deliveries are freight-free, you are responsible for covering the cost of returning the goods to us via courier. All refund will be processed after deduction of the shipping we have paid.
