Maintenance and Care

Before First Use:

  • Wash the pan in hot soapy water with a nylon cloth/brush. Avoid using harsh scourers.

Routine Cleaning:

  • After cooking, allow the pan to cool before adding cold water. Remove all food and fat residue using hot soapy water and a nylon cloth/brush. Heat tint or streak marks can result from excessive high heat. Avoid using excessive high heat. To remove streak marks, create a paste by mixing 2 tablespoons of bicarbonate soda with water. Apply the paste with a soft cloth in a circular motion, then rinse off as usual.
  • While the range is dishwasher safe, handwashing is recommended to extend the product's lifespan. For even better results, consider using the SCANPAN Steel and Copper Cleaner for an "as new" finish.
