The blade of the Wüsthof bread knife from the Gourmet series is made with a precision laser from a piece of stainless steel (chrome molybdenum vanadium) with a hardness of 56 HRC. It is characterized by absolute sharpness, permanent edge retention and high corrosion resistance.
