Maintenance and Care
Preserving Non-Stick Properties: Take care not to overheat the pan, as this may reduce the non-stick effect. Overheating is not covered by the warranty. Optimal Heating: Heat the pan to medium heat for a few minutes before frying, whether with or without oil, for the best cooking results. Cleaning Instructions: The pan is easiest to clean when still warm. Allow it to cool for 5 minutes before washing in hot water with dishwashing liquid. Use a soft nylon scourer to vigorously scrub the pan, ensuring the removal of all food, fat, and residue. Avoid using harsh or abrasive cloths, cleaning liquids, or pastes. Always ensure the pan is clean before drying and storing. Handwashing Recommended: While the pan is dishwasher safe, SCANPAN recommends handwashing to extend the product's lifespan.
