Maintenance and Care
Ensure the longevity of your SCANPAN HaptIQ 20cm Fry Pan with proper care:- Take care not to overheat the product, as this may reduce the non-stick effect (overheating is not covered by the warranty).
- Avoid using aerosol sprays, as they may burn at lower temperatures.
- Preheat the product to medium heat for a few minutes before frying, with or without oil.
- Stainless steel handles may become hot over time, so use an oven mitt when touching them.
- For optimal cleaning, clean the pan while it's still warm. Let it cool for 5 minutes before washing it in hot water with dishwashing liquid. Use a soft nylon scourer to remove all food residue. Avoid harsh or abrasive cleaning cloths or substances.
- Always ensure the product is clean before drying and storing it.
- While the product is dishwasher safe, handwashing is recommended to extend its lifespan.
